Maruthupandi Boominathan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Hertfordshire in 2022. He subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at BPP University, United Kingdom, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn as a Barrister at Law on 9 October 2024.
Maruthupandi completed his pupillage at K Selva & Assoc., where he gained exposure to a broad range of civil litigation matters, including running down and personal injury claims, family law, probate and estate administration, criminal matters, and defamation disputes. He was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 15 May 2026.
Maruthupandi is currently practising as a Legal Associate, focusing primarily on motor vehicle accident and personal injury claims, probate and estate administration matters. He is also involved in conveyancing matters, including developer projects and sub-sale transactions, as well as the preparation and review of sale and purchase agreements, tenancy agreements, loan documentation, and matters relating to the perfection of transfer and perfection of charge.
